Rainbow Key Chain

Craft Time: 2 Hours

MATERIALS

• Keychain links
• Keychain
• Colored Yarn
• Macrame Rope
• Fabric Glue or Hot Glue
• Scissor
• Jewelry Pliers
• Charm (optional)

ACTIVITY

Step 1: Cut the macrame rope: two 10-inch cords and three 8-inch cords. In total there should be 5 cords.

Step 2: Start wrapping the yarn around your cords. I would tie a knot about 4 inches from the ends of the cord and start wrapping inward.

Step 3: Repeat the process for all 5 cords.

Step 4: For the top cord attach the keychain with the chain link around the cord and close with jewelry pliers.

Step 5: Glue the cords together, and scrap or wipe the excess glue from the yarn.

Step 6: Brush out the macrame yarn, then cut to the desired length and shape.

Step 7: Let the glue dry.

Step 8: (Optional) Add a charm to a keychain link.
