This book would have been a great starter for February. Alas, I was too excited and had read it this week. Woe is me. It was, dare I say, serendipitous that I found a copy during my weekly Target run. I was enthralled while crying and laughing through the aisles, clearly I wasn’t leaving without it.
To me what makes this book special is the anonymous poet, Atticus. This was my introductory to his work and his words really spoke to my soul. I would describe the tone and flow as through I was speaking with an old friend. Ultimately, the familiarity of words and emotions resonated with my past and present self.
If you’re a hopeless romantic or looking for an emotional fast-read, I would recommend this book to you. This read was certainly something I didn’t know I needed. I hope you take a chance and let me know what you think…
Your Bestie, T.
